Spiked wheel dressers with wooden handle

The best,

the most sold!

Whatever the shape of the dresser with cutters, its function is always identical:

«To open the structure of the grinding stone by removing the used grits and the incrusted metallic parts».

The dressers have interesting particularities:

* The cutters are mono-block and are composed of several steel discs    presenting U-form spikes, welded together on a calibrated axe.

*

The supporting axe is hollow and equipped with a greaser. The friction cutter/axe is correctly lubricated.

.

Always ensure that the axe is properly lubricated!

*

The wooden handles are very long to ensure easy handling.

*

The dressers with cutters are destined to dress grinding stones with

a vitrified binder turning between 35 and 50 m/sec.

*   The dressing operation of dressers with cutters is not very      precise and not to be recommended for stones for surface grinding

 and sharpening.

Why must we dress a grinding stone?

A stone for «grinding-piece in hand» must be regularly dressed by the user, on the machine in rotation for:

*to remove from the grinding stone the used grits and the incrusted metallic particles.
*recreate a flat side.
*ameliorate its cutting capacity.
